2004年から使い続けたPower Mac G5の調子が悪くなり続けて、フリーズが多くなったり、ファンがうるさくなったり、新しいFlashなども対応しないから、新しいMacを買わないといけないようになってしまった。
悩みの末に、フルスぺックのMac Mini 2011を買いました。古いソフトが全然対応しないから(汗…まずは私の生命線ともいえるAdobe CS5.5を新調しました。

Have been using Power Mac G5 since 2004, and seems that it is already not quite capable for doing daily works, and unable to install even new flash plug-in and new softwares, so its time for me to buy a new Mac.
After thinking for a while, I finally choose Mac Mini with full upgrade. Nearly all softwares cannot be used in OS Lion, hence I have to buy new versions for all ^^||||| starting from Adobe CS 5.5…

一言いえば、Mac Miniは、小さい！！
このサイズって大丈夫か？！
Mac Mini is…..really small!
Are there enough horse power inside?!

次に日、早速移行作業を始まりました…が、しかし。さすがにライオン(Lion)、そう簡単に飼い馴らせないな。Power Mac G5と繋いで、移行アシストのオート作業中でフリーズしたorz
The next day, I start setting up the new machine. Seems lion is not easily to be feed. Migration assistance hanged while moving user info orz

古いMacのシステム問題なのか、ハートの問題なのかわからない…再起動してから更なる悪夢が私を待っています…
I am not sure if it is about hardware and software, after restarting both machines, another nightmare begun…

Wrong Password.

なん…だと？！おいおい、まさかフリーズのせいでユーザ情報が…たしかに古いMacのユーザネームが表示していたのに…これで起動もできないし、リセットもできない…観念して、本屋へStart Guideを買った..
What?! Is it due to a freeze during transmission?! It was showing my old user name but just the password is wrong…I can’t start up and reset the mac mini so I gave up and go to buy a “start guide”…

結局OSリストアでしか起動できないとわかってしまった。
ファイルも書類も設定も手作業で移行しました、３日もかけて。
これもよい勉強になったよね。
Finally I need to format and restore the whole OS, and I spent 3 days to migrate all files, documents and settings to the new mac…
