ソニーのFEマウント標準マクロレンズ、実は２年ほど待ちました(遅い！)
昨年発売した90mmマクロの値段は高いし、サイズもかなり大きい。家でフィギュア撮影メインの私には運用しにくいかもしれないから買わなかった… 今になってやっと50mmのを発売してくれました。
Have been waiting for a small SONY FE mount macro lens for almost 2 years.
SONY released a 90mm macro last year, but the range does not fit my need for taking figure photos at home…and finally the 50mm macro comes out in Sep 2016.

今まで使ってきたソニーAPS-Cマクロレンズ(SEL30M35)、Zeiss 55mm(SEL55F18Z)、今回のマクロレンズ(SEL50M28)とサイズ比較用のねんどろいどミクさん。重さがAPS-Cマクロの2倍程度(236g)、フォーカスリミッターのスイッチあり。これがあれば接写じゃない時のAF速度が少し上がるでしょう。
Size comparison: SONY APS-C 30mm macro(SEL30M35), SONY Zeiss FE55(SEL55F18Z), the new SONY 50mm macro(SEL50M28), and Nendoroid Miku.
The new macro lens is two times heavier then its previous model(236g), with focus limiter switch – faster AF hunting with distant objects.

早速試してみます。最短撮影距離は16cmなので、結構近くてもフォーカスできますね。
Having a quick try. The minimum focus distance is 16cm.

さらに接写。こんなに近くまで撮れると思わなかった(※figmaです)
そして描写力良すぎ。今まで使ってきたソニーAPS-Cマクロレンズはなんなんだろう…
It can shoot much closer (*its a figma)
Details are very good indeed…and it totally outperforms the 30mm macro(of course!)

楓さんのオードアイ。アイプリント塗膜の厚さもはっきり見える…
Well, taking macro pictures are fun.
Kaede-san’s odd eyes. We could see the thickness of the paint.

らんらん。頬染めはこうやって塗装するんだ。

デカイらんらん。大きすぎて意味不明にw 何を撮ってるんだろう私。

エミリアたん。近くで見てると..あれ？アイプリントが…見なかったことにしよう。
EMT. Her eye prints are…well..better not view closely.

グッスマしぶりん。まつ毛は少し立体的に造形されている..今まで気づかなかった(汗)
GSC Shibuya Rin. Eye lashes are sculpted instead of painted. Haven’t realized until now.

ベアブリック棚。それぞれの表面の質感。
Be@rbricks. Can see different surface textures.

ドールの髪、服、アクセサリーと靴。なかなか描写力の良いレンズですね。
Doll hair, dress, accessories and shoes. Resolution seems nice.

最後はいつもの夜景。
ソニーSEL55F18Zの最短フォーカス距離はこんな感じだけど…

マクロレンズを使えばピントが合わないということは気にせずにフレーミングできる。それにソニーのZeissレンズと比べてもほぼ見劣りすることなく、ちょっと驚いた(別の環境だったら結構違うかもしれない)。
And shoot with the new macro lens – it provides a lot freedom for composition as I am free from caring about the focus distance, and it seems that I hardly find much difference on image quality while comparing with shoot from Zeiss!

欠点らしい欠点が見当たらない、コスパの高いマクロレンズだと思います。強いて言えば目立つようにホコリの除去作業が増えたぐらいかな。以上、ソニーSEL50M28のフィギュア撮影レビュー(?)でした。
Well, the lens is nicely built with high cost-performance. (It seems that I have to spend more time for dust removal in PSD). Thats all for my review for SEL50M28 from the viewpoint of figure photo shooting.
